The Tower Pendant is created with the pre-production rods in Uri’s glassblowing process. Combined with laser-cut plates, these table lamps are an elegant synthesis of raw and refined elements.
The play of light through the “tower” of glass rods creates an enchanting glow, casting a warm and inviting ambiance in your space.

The Phase Pendant expresses a diffused, velvety glow at its lowest setting and a bright, gentle scattered light at its brightest setting, which can alone light up a room. This pendant in particular was inspired by the waxing and waning of the moon.
The Phase Pendant is part of the Positive Valence Collection, a collaboration with my long time friend and associate, Nate Cotterman.
Dimensions: 8” x 9.5” x 11” without drop pipe.

Inspired by the iconic Great Wave off Kanagawa wood block print by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai, this pendant captures the essence of movement and power in hand-formed glass. Each pendant is meticulously crafted to mimic the dynamic shape of crashing waves. With a subtle play of light and shadow that sparkles like sunlight dancing off the water's surface, the carefully sculpted contours and mesmerizing swirls within the glass evoke a sense of motion frozen in time.

While exploring natural growth patterns in rhizomes and fungi, Uri became fascinated with the actions of fungi - how they can break down matter and create something new from the original material.
The desire was to create a piece that was highly structured, then systematically break it apart and replace the geometric form with organic forms - essentially mimicking the actions of the fungi.
Hyphae are the branching filaments that make up the mycelium of a fungus.
The Hyphae Cone, part of The Sculptural Collection, is the result.

With a background in industrial engineering, Uri often marveled at the design of common utilitarian objects. The coil chain is the simplest and oldest type of chain, using straight bars of metal bent into an oval then linked together and welded shut. By deconstructing the coil chain link, Uri strips it of its everyday use and stresses the beauty of its design with minimal lines and clean forms.
